Klick ("we", "us") is a Shopify app that generates AI product photos and social posts. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Store information. Your Shopify store domain and the access token Shopify issues when you install the app. We use this to authenticate requests and read/write your products.
- Product data. Product titles, types, descriptions, and image URLs you choose to style. We use these only to generate photos and captions for those products.
- Generated content. The images and captions Klick creates for you, plus job metadata (counts, status, credit usage).
- Billing status. Your plan and credit balance. Charges are processed by Shopify; we do not see or store card details.
What we do NOT collect
Klick does not collect your customers' personal information. We key everything to your store and Shopify product IDs. We do not access customer names, emails, addresses, or order data.
Service providers
To run Klick we rely on trusted third-party processors, including AI image and language providers (to generate and art-direct your shots) and cloud hosting and storage providers (to run the app and store your generated images). We share only what is necessary to provide the service (typically the product image and text context you choose to style) and we do not sell your data. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while the app is installed. When you uninstall, or upon a Shopify shop/redact request, we delete your store record, jobs, generated results, and social posts. You can also request deletion any time by contacting us.
Security
Access tokens and API keys are stored as server-side secrets. Database access is restricted to our server. Generated images are served over HTTPS.
